You know, books?
Books are like Kryptonite to enwords.
About Silicon Valley:
The New New Thing
From Michael Lewis, who writes a lot about Wall St and such. Great writer.
"Michael Lewis was supposed to be writing about how Jim Clark, the founder of Silicon Graphics and Netscape, was going to turn health care on its ear by launching Healtheon, which would bring the vast majority of the industry's transactions online. So why was he spending so much time on a computerized yacht, each feature installed because, as one technician put it, "someone saw it onStar Trekand wanted one just like it?""
Barbarians, magic, and torturers:
Books about what star wars topic?
movies? toys? music?
Murder, mayhem, avarice, lust, double and triple-crosses, depth, despair, loss and redemption.
I absolutely love the rank hypocrisy of this endeavor. What a book. It lines bird cages, props up truck tires when your changing a flat; hell, it can double as a door stop. But as an example of how to eat, see-sawing between obesity and starvation is a great way to load the decks for a massive coronary:
Death defying adventures of the real variety.
Delusions of grandeur:
Not sure I understand the question, but I'm going to go with the human condition.
Fake stories about drugs:
Trick question. The answer is "there are no good books about these topics".
