I had a recent discussion on this, what are your thoughts?

1: Wilco- Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
2: Radiohead-Kid A
3: LCD Soundsystem- The Sound of Silver
4: Flaming Lips- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
5: The National- Boxer

I am trying to think of some more recent ones, but I have to mull it over a bit more.

I'm an old fucker, for my money the only good albums have been by Richie Kotzen and Mr. Big. Actual Size is incredibly underrated if you're into that style of pseudo-hair metal at all.

My list was pretty off the cuff, but I think I gave an accurate representation of my opinion

Forgive me for my ignorance, but are those the same Flaming Lips from the 80's? The Blister on the Sun guys?

The Flaming Lips were, indeed around in the 80s, but I think youre thinking of the Violent Femmes

No QOTSA.

No Tool.

Did you look into a Vape Pen?

What are prices running on a typical top shelf 1/8th out there?

Oh fuck, that's right. I was more of a proto-grunge (Meat Puppets, Echo and the Bunnymen) type of guy so it all blurs together. Seriously though, any of Richie Kotzen's albums from this decade are amazing.

Nah...I dig Tool big time, but not top five worthy (for me). Dont get me wrong, I think they kick ass.

I have a PAX, so at the moment I dont really need a vape pen. I really like the Atmosraw, but it is pretty spendy, and for the most part, I still smoke dry materials

I would say an eighth goes of top shelf goes between 30-40, depending on your place. The guy I usually get from sells me top shelf indica for 30

Reps. This is one hell of a list.

The last time I saw MF DOOM (madvillian) in Chicago, a guy came on stage who was clearly not him...he was just a guy in a mask lip synching. Its been hard for me to dig him since.

Also, Awesome for digging Tame Impala.

I was going to nominate Radiohead's "OK Computer" for that list but then I remembered you said for this millenium. "Kid A" would work just fine. :)
