So many, I know. Which albums still sound as good now as they did when you first heard them? Vinyl albums used to be so important. You had the cover art, sometimes the lyrics inside, the songs were arranged in a certain order you had to adhere to, you had to be careful not to scratch the record and keep it stored. They weren't only a source of music, but they were collectibles.

My favorites: "Pet Sounds- the Beach Boys. "Murmur"- REM. "Moondance"- Van Morrison. "Rubber Soul" - the Beatles. "Tim"- the Replacements. "The Lonesome Jubilee"- John Mellencamp. "Quadrophenia"- The Who. "Will the Wolf Survive?"- Los Lobos.

Albums were more fun. I like having 12,000 songs on my laptop, but I miss albums.

Mine change from time to time but always include something from Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Waylon Jennings.

Three great picks. I love the albums with no filler.

Two great albums with great cover artwork. But why was the song "Houses of the Holy" on "Physical Graffiti" instead of the Houses of the Holy album?

Other than happy birthday, I think Limelight might be the only song I can sing without screwing up the words.

Never a big heavy metal guy, but Back in Black along with Van Halen 1 rank up there with the greatest.

Because it sounded too much like "Dancing Days."

Physical Graffiti is mostly a compilation of old songs. There's only 6 new ones in the bunch.

GWAR - Scumdogs of the Universe
    Ween - Live at Stubbs
    Buckethead - Population Override
    Led Zeppelin - Presence
    Pink Floyd - Animals

I'm sure there's shit I'm forgetting, but I think those are the five I'd take with me on a desert island or some shit.

Their entire first album sounded like Willie Dixon and Howlin Wolf songs, so that shouldn't have been a problem. But, you're right those songs are similar.
