That mop-headed pelican fuck tends to always claim people are ripping him off (you may have noticed). But I tend to notice that the Show, itself, rips off others constantly.

    For example:

    1) Listening to the Mammary Lane stuff (aka the only bearable version of the Show now) today and it was the "Richard Gets Waxed" bit from 2006. The year before, "The 40 Year Old Virgin" grossed over $100 million and had a famous scene in which Steve Carell was waxed (for real) which was hilarious. I think it's clear one of those "writers" saw that movie.

    2) A couple of years ago Howard "discovered" the hilarity that is adding Letterman's bass drop sound effect as a way to accentuate certain "punchlines". But "Arrested Development" did it first, WAY back in it's third season as well, during the Judge Reinhold "Mock Trial" episode.

Now these seem insignificant, but Wigward would never stop talking about them if it was the other way around.

What else, or who else, has Howard and the Show ripped off? I know there's more.

Howard Stern's whole on-air persona was stolen from Steve Dahl. He also stole bits from him.

Wiggy always mentions the Chicken Doing Football Picks bit as an example of an idea Jay Leno supposedly stole from him. Problem is, Bob & Tom did the exact same bit a full year before Howard. They also did the Monkey Doing Football Picks before Howard, so he clearly stole those bits from Bob & Tom.

He always stated, "If you say anything enough over and over people will believe you", that's when he started his King Of All Media BS and then the press picked up on it, proving his point.

One specific example (of the bits stolen from Steve Dahl) is the black traffic reporter in a helicopter. Calling his wife on the air is another, though that's a little more generic and harder to pin down.

He's always been a conceptual fraud (Soupy Sales, Don Imus, Charles Laquidera and Steve Dahl) who had funny lines and moments provided by Fred Norris, Billy West, Jackie Martling, Artie Lange, standups, Sal and Richard, staff members and wackpackers. Without those people the true self shines through: A womanly, PC fraud and closeted homosexual crying on the inside that he hasn't landed a late night talk show gig.

He took prepburger level material from places like Electric Eel and pawned it off as real, his biggest rip off and fraud.
All the raunchy lesbian stuff that made him was stolen from Steve Dahl.

I've heard that. Is that a real thing? I wouldn't doubt it, but I'd like to see/hear the evidence.

Haha, nice. And totally true. The fuck. Also great list. I really do want to know how much material, and from whom, Howard has been stealing all these years.

Hitler said something like that too: “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

Of course the "Trophy Wife" and getting the audience involved in a specific charity both stolen from Imus.
