The WNBC years? Early Krock years? The Billy West years? The Movie years? The Artie Krock years? The Artie Sirus years? Or now...

For me I have to go with the Artie Krock years. It was like Howie became a new man is full of life. Beth wasn't talked about as much. KC was still on the show. You could also say the N-word and fag, before he became PC.

    Oh I hate Jackie. It's a paradox.

The Jackie laugh is funny ONLY when done by Fred.

I started listening to HS around '96-'97; I was still in high school.

I have to say the "Golden Era," for me, would be the beginning of the Sirius years - '06-'08.

The energy from those early Sirius shows was unmatched. And Artie on Sirius, especially in the beginning, was radio gold!

Plus, gotta love the ragging on Gary's teeth since Howard's are now just as big.

From about the early 90s through 2001.

There was then a breif renessaince in 2006 and 2007 when Stern did some of the most outrageous, and hilarious radio of his career

Billy West is my favorite. And then Jackie.
The show was particularly good during the OJ trial era - so much material for parodies, bits, etc.

    07,08,09 a.k.a Artie mayhem.

I've been listening to the sirius years from the beginning. So far I've made it to June of 06. I'm actually finding myself annoyed by the amount of times Howard replayed the same bits over and over. They're currently obsessed with Riley Martin and Crazy Alice and they have about 5 song parody's that they play multiple times everyday, back to back, in an obvious attempt to kill time. They also did an acoustic version of "The Backside Boys: Backside's Back". And they've played it from beginning to end (a full length song) 100 times. I know all the words at this point. People say 06 was the best of sirius because Howard was trying to hook everyone in, but I would argue that the real effort ended in the second month.
