I miss Howard.
My own naiveté.
When it was spontaneously funny and cutting edge. When they put SOME effort; ANY effort, into presenting an entertaining program.
Etm. Oh, and the non stop funny
"Does anybody remember laughter?"
Bursting the bubble of celebrity arrogance and hypocrisy. One of the funniest moments I remember is them ripping apart Julia Roberts and James Gandolfini for kissing each other's asses on some shitty film they did together. Julia's vomit is delicious. I put it on my pasta. Her doody is pink and smells like roses. It was so fucking funny especially for being on regular radio. I'm always amazed at how much being on satellite made them less funny. The cleverness of dancing around certain taboo topics was great.
Entertainment and funny.
How could you be funny making 400,000 a year than sign for 100s of millions and suck.
Artie, Stuttering John, Jackie, Billy, Kinison, Gilbert, Crackhead Bob, Crazy Alice, Jesus Twins, ETM, Hank.............
Because he needed to be funny to start earning 100s of millions. Once he had it he was able to coast his way all the way down to suck.
I miss the long pee breaks.
Oh, I thought you meant what I missed since I gave SXM the boot....
Being stranded in the car because it was just so funny I couldn't get out.
I don't miss anything. I've moved on, instead of "laughing with" too "laughing at" Wiggy.
Kinison showing up 2-3 days in a row and staying for almost the entire show.
honesty. am beginning to listen to opie for their thoughts about things. miss that about Howard.
