4 out of 10
Would see again.
A turd and a half
Honestly not knowing what a crock of shit it all was, maybe a 5.5
It wasn't as funny or sexy as they wanted it to be. And the Wig and Blobbin couldn't even act well enough to portray themselves.
I gave it a solid 7.5 at the time of its release.
Now however, with the benefit of hindsight and knowing as we do that the entire premise of the movie was a load of horseshit, the number is quite a bit lower.
6 or 7. It was funny, but I don't think it holds up quite as well, especially considering the underlying theme of the whole movie, the strength Howard's marriage, turned out to be bullshit not 2 friggin' years later.
Honestly aside from Howard and Robin's shitty acting, it's a pretty entertaining movie.
A solid 7
As much I want now to say it was dreadful, it was not dreadful. It was OK. A Hallmark Channel movie for the Beavis and Butthead set.
4 out of 10. Tried to watch it with the wife, who knows nothing about Stern, positive or negative. Just a pretty boring movie. It wanted to be a feel-good family friendly movie with a positive message, but it ended up being boring in parts, unfunny in others, and had a weird raunchy feel at inappropriate times.
7 Its a solid movie
I rate Private Parts like I rate Fever Pitch. Fever Pitch isn't a good movie, but I like it because I'm a Red Sox fan and remember the feeling of the 2004 season.
Similarly, I liked Private Parts cause I was a Stern fan. Now that I can't stand Howie, I enjoy the movie a hell of a lot less.
Specify - movie or book?
