Excellent question. To clarify, do I get to keep all my knowledge of what's happened and benefit in some way, or am i just born in that era completey oblivious to what I would have missed having not been my age in this era?

I'm gonna say the 50's. Technology was on the rise, cars were cool, women stayed at home, and certain minorities had a good healthy fear of whitey.
