and why does my Malware Anti-Malware app keep popping up with a message that the site is trying to connect to my PC? By the way -this involves torrents fuckery, I'm pretty sure.
I store all of my files on a server. Another cheap way is to use a network attached drive. A lot of wifi routers have USB ports for such things. I clone a build of my PC after a fresh install, then simply install the clone whenever shit starts happening. I don't even bother with AV software for the most part. If I want to browse questionable sites, I use a virtual PC that doesn't save changes. I simply reboot the virtual PC and it's back to square one.
I dual boot to either Windows 7 or Linux Mint. I find myself on Linux 75% of the time. When on Linux, I don't have to worry about viruses, malware, nothing. It just works and I can do almost everything I can do on Windows.
Thanks. Found what was causing it -or at least I removed the troublesome issue. Those zany ladyboys -fucking the whole wild world up.
people at work (Windoze users) are getting hit with ransomware. They're paying also, but not all the files are being unencrypted after they pay.
