Here's Your Chance to Brag
Post more than one if you're proud of it
i donated a pool table to the boys and girls club last year.
I'm still thinking...
take a shower, it will help
They may not like that at my job.
courtesy flush at Tim Hortons yesterday.
Nice! Now that's what I'm talking about
I was expecting slew of ridiculous posts joking around
I lit a candle for peace.
I bid a penny for a sexy shot of Low to make him feel better.
I gave the LOUD TALKING HANDYMAN at work an extra $5.
He talks like this...
"HEY V WHAT'S GOING ON? GOT ANY WORK FOR ME? DID I EVER TELL YOU ABOUT THE TIME I WAS IN JAIL AND HAD TO SHIT RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY? WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU? WHERE YOUR PARTNER AT?"
I used to donate literally thousands of dollars of food to the food shelf every month. It didn't come 100% out of my pocket, but it did cost me money.
I have since stopped. I gave up.
Good man If they didn't thank you then I will.
I understand. Giving is hard to continue when an organization makes you feel like they're just taking from you and don't appreciate it. I think many charities are like that to some extent.
Hmmm not sure if this counts but i found a wallet filled with credit cards and details of the owner along with 60 quid......i called him up arranged too meet him and gave it back.Travelled 20 miles too do it too.
I was on the dole at the time and pretty skint but gave it back and even though he offered something ( a gift or what ever he never said) i said no its fine and just glad i could return it too him.
In the back on the mind i kicked myself for weeks after but for some reason felt it was the right thing too do.
The guy said too me when i gave it back " you have restored my faith in human kind" so i figured thats got too be worth something towards bettering the world and a place in this thread.
There is only ONE way to get good karma and you have done that good sir!
Damn nice of you. I doubt many others would do the same. Certainly not to the same extent. Good show
