I am looking for a really freaky or scary movie to watch. I haven't seen a core shaking scary movie in a long time, when Paranormal Activity first came out I was pretty freaked out about that however I was told it was ACTUALLY based on a real story which I found out was false soon after. Paranormal Entity is also a pretty freaky movie to those who like those kind of movies.

Not a movie but saw an interview of some dumb blond on TV last week that was promoting some stupid pet show and the way that bitch waved her hands around was scary.

I love that film and I just watched a documentary on the Anneliese Michel also(woman Exorcism of Emily Rose is based on). I was looking for a more recent movie that is really creepy/scary. I liked V/H/S a lot as well, I can't wait for the sequel for that.[h=1][/h]

The scariest movie I ever saw was "Threads", a British television movie about nuclear war that aired on PBS in 1985. I saw it once and have never, ever forgotten it. Nor do I ever want to see it again.

You can read about it here.

The movie that got under my skin more than any other when I was growing up was pet semetary, it gets a bit cheesey in the final act but I can look past that as the whole movie is filled with this ominous atmosphere and the scene that haunted me was the one that everyone mentions, the deformed looking sister with spinal meningitis during the flashback scenes, shit still creeps me out to this day when I watch it.

I saw this along with Sinister and thought both were ok, kind of predictable however.

    This was scary as hell!

For a woman that has claimed to be so educated and enlightened, it's frightening how incredibly stupid she actually is!

When you say "recent", I too think of Sinister. I thought it was pretty scary. Of course, the Exorcist is the best horror film ever made, period.
