All I know is that it is supposed to be an alternative to SPOTIFY. Should I care that JAY-Zee owns it with Madonna and many others?

Considering who is involved, it's probably bad for music

Apparently it's just like Spotify, but it costs more ($20.00/month) and we are somehow supposed to believe it's going to revolutionize everything. Sound familiar?

Some rich music industry folk like Jay Z watched the Spotify people show them how to run a successful music streaming service and then decided that they are entitled to even more money so they copied it. I've been a premium Spotify subscriber for a couple of years and have no interest in giving any of my money to Jay Z, therefore, I'll stay with Spotify.

you can't believe how sick I am of hearing about spotify.
at my company they try to copy their agile style of working, down to the bizarro desks. They are getting rid of our cubicleville for something like this:

I've had the TIDAL service for about 3 months now - I like it. The service provides access to an extensive music selection, and streams in higher resolution (Lossless) than other streaming services, so the songs sound much better. Lots of features to create and play your own playlists, etc. Good UI. Also, high def music videos are available. I had been paying $20. per month - I understand that the new monthly fee will be reduced to $10. per month.
