What product or service have you bought in the past that was a total waste of time and money?

I have a kid, so there's lots of stuff there for which I paid handsomely but never used. Then there is the Sirius satellite radio that sits in the closet, unused and unusable. But I think for sheer money down the tube, i'm going with an Android tablet (computer) that I bought last year. I swear it has sat in my car for almost six months and I have never used it, have no desire to use it, and really don't know what I would use it for even if I got the urge. Total waste of money.

Some of my hooker purchases have been terrible. I ended up finishing with my hand, and in some cases not at all. I don't do hookers anymore.

I bought a laptop for a month-long work training out of State. Used it a lot and everyday, but found no use really, when I got home. Plus it had Windows 8.
BEST purchases ever-Memory Foam Mattress and a food vacuum sealer.

    Dog training.
I'm on my 6th Labrador. I've always trained them myself for hunting, retreiving, obedience and have always done very well.
    Until this last one.
She's a nice dog, but totally independent. Comes when she wants, counter surfs, etc.
So I gave up and sent her to obedience training. If anyone's done this, you know how expensive it can be.
8 weeks later I get her back. The guys like "well, there's type A dogs, type B dogs....yours is a type C. Never had one like her. I did what I could".
She listened for about a month.
    Fucking waste of money.
