Another vacation week or two for the workaholic. What do you all listen to when he is off?
The question should be, "Do you listen to The Wig when all the other shows are off?"
And the answer would be, "No. Simply, no."
1st Wave, The Groove, Deep Tracks and Jay Thomas
Is the Wig ever really off? I imagine it is welded to his scalp.
I've been listening to podcasts for the over 5 years that I stopped paying for Howchie's luxe lifestyle and his unfunny drivel.
Classic Rock, the 60's, CNN and Fox, The grateful Dead Channel.
Call me a homosexual, but I listen to Jay Thomas 80% of the time when I fire up Sirius.. I still enjoy Stern from time to time, but not as much.
the same thing as when the wig is on
I listen to fm radio here at work in Arizona - 979 holmbergs morning sickness -very entertaining .I like it better than Stern . They also have a link to their podcast on the website
Holmberg's is great, those guys are really funny and they get away with a lot for being on terrestrial radio. It's not really the standard morning zoo, reminds me of the early Stern show.
I know its crazy but I actually like Maria Menounos's show.
Ditto...I don't miss Howie at all.
Raw Dog can be fun. Some good stuff usually
He's off so much it's hard to know when he's actually on
Jenny McCarthy show on Stars
If there's nothing good on 101 then its:
Somtimes the comedy channels
If I'm going on a long drive, I listen to stuff like the Bro fight, Artie -vs- Teddy, Sal, and on down the list.
I also like the Stuttering John special, Billy West special, and so on. I even like parts of the History of Howard Stern.
Anything edgy, angry, mean-spirited..... you know, the no holds barred shows that made Howard Stern famous.
Anything in the Sirius years, minus the first year or so, I consider garbage - except for some of the Artie and staff fights.
That reminds me, another one I love to listen to is Gary's fancy party in his home when Howard was screaming at Beth through the house that they had to go. It was like 9:25pm and Howard was getting tired and grumpy. Then to top it all off, he was trying to convince everyone that he did nothing wrong at all. Not understanding that leaving in the middle of a meal is an insult to absolutely everyone. Not to mention the fact that he was rushing through all of the plates to finish on time - treating ity was like a fucking job.
Completely incapable of having fun, or even understanding human beings and their social evolution - which obviously passed right on by fucknuts.
Oh, there was one other tidbit that night, Howard trying to convince everyone that Beth said on the way home, this is why I love you - leaving in the middle of the dinner - which everyone in the studio didn't believable for a second. Everyone thought Beth was actually embarrassed by Howard's behavior that night - far from happy.
And Robin, who was invited but didn't even attend the dinner, was bitching at Artie for being late, Howard for rushing through everything..... it was fucking ridiculous.
Damn I love that episode. It really shows how utterly clueless Howard truly is. I feel the same about the Bro fight with Artie when Howard just kept going on and on and on, I'll never invite another woman on the air for Artie - which made Artie VERY happy to hear. Howard was treating it like he was taking this HUGE favor away from him...... it was fucking bizarre.
Even her voice is sexy
The first 4 years on Sirius with Artie and Howard still caring about the show produced so much great content I'm still discovering stuff on YouTube
