Didn't watch but they're not my favorite.
You should watch.
everyone commenting sounds like they are from the south
Most questions were asked in Times Square. watch the video first then comment.
I ain't watching that.
I watched it and they want to portray us as Nazi's. Fuck it and fuck them. I didn't see all these freedom loving Muslims in the street protesting 9-11. They can take Allah and that fucking Koran shove it up their ass for all I care.
They should put a tattoo on their forehead that says Muslim.
Most people still sound like they are from the south.
This crosses all party lines.
There are very few NYers in Times Square. We avoid it at all costs.
Schmoopy says you have a southern accent.
I cant blame you for that.
if i want to know what assholes filming in Times Sq stage to make it look like real interviews of people on the street, i'll listen to Howard. No real NYers stop and talk to those guys filming in TS. I've commuted through there daily for a decade and nobody stops to talk; no real people in NYC have the time to waste, therefore I'm convinced (without watching it) that it is staged.
That said, my current impression of muslims is derived from a guy I've worked with for the past 20 years. His family home is in Pakistan. He came to the US when he was a child and was nationalized. He married an irish american girl (native born american) he met on the job more than 12 years ago. she converted to islam after traveling to visit the family, because they both believed the religion was very beautiful. Then 911 happened. 4 years later they both converted to judiasm because it is basically the same beliefs except the islamic church practices disgust them and they do not want to raise their kids muslim.
people get all over my case when i say real NYers do not go to TS. we don't eat at the Olive Garden or Red Lobster there, and we don't go to the Wax Museum or other touristy things there. it's gross and hayseedy.
8 years ago, the new group at work i was moved into, decided to have everyone into NYC for team building. We ate at the Palms (I got sick on the crab...); We saw the sights in TS and we went to the Wax Museum. I told them, i would attend but if i saw anyone i knew anywhere near i was going to duck down the fire exit and see them the next day: I refused to be "seen" there. I would not be able to live it down.
Hahahaha... funny you say that. I lived in LA.. and only tourists walk down "The Hollywood Walk of Fame.." That's why there are so many panhandlers there.
Such pussies, I'm half Armenian and anyone who converts because of pressure (including rape, murder, having your country taken and having your first born son taken to fight in the Janissary corp) really are intellectual weaklings. Having said that, I am not a fan of Islam, based upon the moral precepts it is based on. All of these religions are bullshit, though. When did tolerating something mean that you have to like or approve of it?
i used to go for walks down Sunset Blvd, and the cops would stop me to see if i was alright because nobody walks there.
Ya... only the tourists walk down and read the stars on the sidewalk.. thats how the bums know who's from out of town..
they didn't convert due to pressure from anyone. she joined because she was originally proud to join his religion and culture, but they both converted to judaism because they were disgusted to be associated with the islamic church, and the basic teachings are similar (jews and muslims are distant cousins).
