Was it Despearado which music expert Howard always claimed was better than the Don Henley version?
Did he really? I love Joe Walsh, but Henley's Desperado is a classic. And Linda Ronstadt's version is a close second. But Joe Walsh's version is better than Carrie Underwood's

I don't listen but was it "Rosewood Bitters"? I know he performed that on the show before.
Yes. Howard has said repeatedly when Walsh was in the studio that his version was better. Of course if Don Henley was in the studio Howard would side with him.
