One man has illegally entered the country with Ebola. One man. So far we have hundreds of people quarantined at a cost of millions of dollars. Schools have been shut down. It's all of the news. So what happens when 100 Americans contract Ebola? 1000 people with Ebola? How many of thousands of Americans will be locked in their homes? How many businesses will be shut down? How many schools? How long before we turn on one another? 1,000 Americans dying from Ebola would not be a huge loss for our nation, but what about the many billions in lost GDP and the standstill we face during the time fighting the virus? I don't see how it can be avoided.
