howard related because he is always talking about how early he gets up

I go to bed at 10 almost nightly and get up at 615. I feel like a slouch though because a lot of my customers claim to get up at 5 or 530 and go to bed at 11 but I think that is bullshit. I am tired all the time as is.

What time do you go to bed and get up

I do best with 6 hours of sleep so I lay down 6 1/2 hours before the time I have to get up and that varies between 4 and 730.

If I have a day off I leave it up to my body. Sometimes down by 9 sometimes up till 5.

I used to go to bed around 10 pm til I started taking night classes this semester. Even though I get home around 9, I am so wired its almost impossible to fall asleep at a decent hour. Its fucking up my routine :bigcry: I seem to wake up around 7 am no matter what time I go to sleep, so staying up late is killing me.

You think it's "bullshit" that some people (in any number of professions) get by on 5-6 hours of sleep a night for years on end? Where have you been? Planet of The Teens?

Go to bed around 0400 and get up between 0700 and 0900. I don't use an alarm so I just wake up when I wake up, but generally I only need about 3-5 hours of sleep per night. Been this way for almost 40 years.

I think you can do it for a few days in a row but not everyday of the week all year. Your body needs 7-8 hours of sleep a night, get 4-5 will work for a bit but not the lng run. It will break down

Nope. Been sleeping an average of 3-5 hours per night since the 80's and I feel great. Some nights I don't even sleep, I just pull a 36 hour day. And several times a month I'll sleep 8-10 hours at once and recharge.

Maybe, and that's what weekends are for. But people are built differently, as already evidenced above. And some people have no choice but to work or care for others for years on end with those hours. It's not bad for the body so much as the brain. But it's very far from impossible and it"s plain weird that you'd doubt your customers enough to raise the issue. You just sound young, to be honest.

On weeknights I am in bed by 11:15 and up at 6:15. On weekends I take a cat nap during the day and stay up till about 1 am and sleep in the next day.

I never go to bed before 2:00AM. Work days I wake up at 9:00AM, get out of bed around 9:30AM. Off days I might stay up to 4:00-5:00AM and get up after noon (this is my natural schedule).

To bed between 3 and 5:00 a.m. and up between 10:00 a.m. and noon. Worked nights before I lost my job and can't seem to get back to normal hours. Doesn't bother me a lot, but when I have to be somewhere early its a pain in the ass.
