It was based in Chicago and you could order online and have it delivered to your home.

Personally if I wanted some ribs I would take my partial lazy ass to the super market or rib joint.*

I bought that shit for my mom in 2006. I don't eat ribs, but I figured my mom would dig it and she did....but ultimately, years later, she admitted that she could buy shit at the store that was just as good and half the price.

So now I just send her a twenty with a note that says, "Buy some ribs, bitch."

Part of that story was true.

i cant imagine any scenario where cooked-frozen-reheated food would taste better than fresh.
for $120, you could call a local restaurant have them delivered still hot.

From what I remember, it wasn't that much. Not nearly.

My mom was still living in NY and she had a pizza and garlic knots sent to me a year earlier. So I sent her some ribs.

Dumb, yeah, but it wasn't a buck twenty dumb...I don't think.

it was cool for a novelty gift i guess.
i went to their site because i was curious if they were still in business, 2 slabs of ribs $99 + $20 shipping.
maybe you got the stern fan special.
though if i had to admit i was a stern fan in order to get $ off now, i'd just pay the extra :p
ah 2006, the good ole days when we tried to support the show sponsors. now, i purposely never buy a brand that runs ads on the show
