    full metal jacket was the most realistic boot camp scenes ever portrayed. even had the barracks correct.

    i just cant sit thro a swayze film, such bad acting & writing. i'd have to be buzzed for a few laughs but still gets old & i like stupid movies, just not the ones that dont think they're stupid.

    Out of that group, Broadcast News. But my real favorite is Radio Days. It's one of Woody Allen's best. I watch it a couple of times a year.

    I paid for a lot of movie tickets in 87 but didn't watch many movies. Cause I was sucking face in the back of the theatre.

    Trivia: R. Lee Ermey was a real Marine DI, and was supposed to just be a coach/teacher for the actor who played Sgt. Hartman. The actor (don't know who) couldn't quite get it and Kubrick gave Ermey the job.
