    1978 Fiat 128

I loved that car. Had some great times in that car during college/grad school. It was temperamental.

Skylark, 1970s version, baby blue... Every time you drive it, you had to worry about it not starting the next time

Sold it... Less than 10 days later, a homeless guy broke into it, fell asleep, dropped his cig, burned to death with the car...

For $300 dollars and it was already 10 years old when I got it.

The first week I owned it, the oil pump went out and I had to mow lawns for a month to get the scratch to buy the parts.

Died a horrible death 2 years later.

First car I ever bought was a second hand (or maybe third) 1973 Plymouth Duster. The sun roof always leaked, and it wouldn't start for love or money on rainy days. I lent that car to my dad when he had to take his in for repairs. He got into an accident with it two days later... Wasn't worth fixing. For a few years I drove my dad's 1980 Malibu Classic which he gave me when he bought a new car.
First new vehicle I ever bought was a Chevy Vandura in the mid 80's. Needed a van for work, been driving vans ever since.

Mine was this '68 Cougar I got from my little old Irish granny who never drove it over 50 mph I suspect. :jj: I did considerably more velocity.
