1996-97...DX4 100 8mb ram with a 250mb harddrive running windows 95
That's actually pretty sick. I had an 8088 with a 10 meg drive and I would dial into BBS boards before the net was even around. I feel old. I'm only 38!!!!
really? i built my first computer with parts that were discarded by my older brother and what people were throwing out in my neighbourhood...im 39...was 24 or 25 when i built it. when did you get into the shit man?
My first computer was a 286 8 mhz with half a meg of ram and a 40 mb hd. The modem i used was a external 9600 lol
wow...lightning fast shit there bro...what year was that?
Yea. I was still in HS fucking around with that shit. I had a 286 that I over locked by soldering new crystals on the motherboard. I was bonding 2 phone lines with 2 modems by the time dail up tcpip became popular. I'm a fucking dork.
386/33 dos 6.1 100megs hard drive 4 megs ram.
A leading edge 8088 with a 256K modem. I was hot stuff. Not sure of the date 95/96
He can't answer because he's not a real person
IBM clone. With no disk drive. Had to boot into dos with those giant floppies. Then run lotus 123 off of another floppy.
Circa 1999, AMD Thunderbird CPU, built by a friend. I upgraded it and rebuilt it until I became a Mac Daddy a few years later...
First was an 80286 , 8 mhz if I remember correctly. Ran Windows 3.1. I upgraded from a 10 meg hard drive to a 20. There was no interwebs yet, but a friend had some floppys with low grade porn stills
some compac computer, cant even remember the model, big old 100 lb monitor
That was 1986 by the way
Why don't they put turbo buttons on computers anymore?
what years? and how old were you fuckers?
I've worked on processors that use fucking relays. No shit. Big sheets of metal that Were magnetically "burned" with program info. Some of the coolest shit I've ever seen in my life.
