Ah, the banana seat! Whatever happened to them?
My first bicycle was (we did NOT have a lot of money, but I was the first child) imported from England -- wish I remember what make it was, but it was a gorgeous model that we had to drive into Manhattan to pick up. I think I was 4 or 5 -- it was a miniature version of an adult bicycle. Now I have to go through the photo boxes
Your mom. I rode her hard.
I always wanted one but never did
Huffy Stu Thomsen, it was rad.
You know, I believe it.
We were so poor my first bike was a unicycle. We couldn't afford two wheels.
I don't remember. But I was an underprivileged, deprived child so I'm sure it was a garage sale find.
Damn! How old are you? 130?
Schwinn Stingray.... made in Chicago USA. We took a tour of the factory when I was a wee Cub Scout. I had the yellow one - Lemon Peeler I think it was... my brother had the white one.. Cotton Picker ???
A 1999 Schwinn. One hell of a dirt bike.
It's true, she was a massive whore. All the guys in the neighborhood pulled train on her.
A sky blue Predator. Fucking thing was like $450 bucks in the 80s. Guy tried stealing it from me and I whacked him with those big ugly "U' shaped locks. Citadel or some shit. He was shocked and kinda just walked away. I was 10 years okd or so. Dude was probably 30 and could've fucked me up.
And yes, that shiftier was a real nut breaker.
Yup that's it - lots of funky colors and names.
