Pot washer at 15.
Only lasted three days.
Howard related because dreams of getting fucked by bus boys?
I was also a pot washer at a high end Italian place near the beach.
To this day one of the best summers I have had.
Spent all day at the beach, worked at night.
Ate like a king every night, wine, beer, waitresses.
Made $2.25 per hour.
In the kitchen area me and my buddy were the only English speakers.
The cooks were Italian, the rest of the help was Mexican.
We had a blast.
Rolling Stones - Some Girls was the soundtrack for that summer.
at 15 worked at a beach condo shoveling sand drifts out of the parking lot
Penny Saver deliver Age 11...Stock boy for an Italian Superette age 12, (the owners hired me because I spoke Italian) they paid me 1.25 an hour when minimum wage was 2.10...
I'm going to fuck up the spelling but it was der weiner schintzel in southern california. It was a hot dog fast food restaurant.
16 worked as a stock boy at a local beer & soda store. Made $2.85/hr but was able to get "discounts" on beer for my friends. Things were way different in the late 70's
The best job I've ever had in my life.
Suckling older men's dick for money
As a kid:
Mowing lawns during the summer.
Shoveling snow during the winter.
Delivering Newsday all year round.
My first real job was as an usher at the Lowes Quad movie theatre on Long Island. I think after all these years it remains my happiest working expierence. Loved the people I worked with. Not one asshole or backstabber in the bunch. We worked together and got drunk together. Really miss those days.
First worked in the family business starting in middle school. First job outside of that was summer "maintenance" (cleaning, painting, and lawn mowing).
Warehouse where married guys got 50 cents more an hour. I was happy making 50cents less.
1971,Two Guys dept store in South Jersey.
i was 11 or 12. i came home from school and mum said that i had a job as a paper boy. this was news to me as i don't recall ever thinking of being a paper boy. i think my mum believed that work would keep me out of trouble.
anyway, 7 fucking days a week, i'd get on my bike in the dead dark of morning, ride for a couple miles to pick up the papers then wander around dark neighborhoods delivering them. then, BONUS, i'd get to wander around these neighborhoods after school and on weekends trying to catch up with the people to pay for the papers.
at 14, i got a job as a busboy. at 15 i started smoking and a couple weeks later, selling pot. guess which job was the most fun and got me the most casheesh and vagina?
great first job, good experience for the future
First job ever was when I was 14 and worked in a candy store stocking shelves and taking inventory. I used to be able to keep the old porn magazines they didn't sell at the end of the month. Lol all I had to do was tear the covers off and the store would get credit for what they didn't sell I think.
First REAL job was part time Vet technician when I was in college my first 2 years.
Pays the bills!
Where the fuck can I find a candy store that sells porn mags? I need this job NOW.
Technically, my first job was babysitter for the neighbor. Made great money for a 12 year old, probably around $50 a week.
My first "real" job was a grocery store. It was one of the major chains here. I stayed in the grocery business for over 10 years, eventually becoming a store manager. I loved that job....
My brother got a job at a local liquor store when he was in high school. Every night, he and the other goofs he worked with would put a ton of beer and liquor out in the alley when they "took out the garbage" and their friends would drive by and pick it up. Hmmmm....the place eventually went out of business. :
Mine was delivering newspapers. Same as sstressed, I came home from school to my Mum telling me I start delivering papers the next day.
