I won't lie, I'd probably be a starstruck kiss ass and thank him for all the great years of entertainment.

It'd just be awkward to tell him he's been shit especially with AGT, I'm sure he knows the truth deep down inside.

Just Laugh. And not because he's funny.

I would ignore him completely and pretend I had no idea who he was.

nothing. just think to myself, "oh, cool, it's howard stern!" the guy needs his privacy. that goes for all celebs, really. i know i'd be aggravated if everyone came up to me on the street when all i was trying to do was get from my front door to the car.

    nothing.

there are a lot of people here who used to be funny, used to be entertaining, used to be happening. i don't respond to them either.

some of the local "celebrities" can be scarey on the street. many years ago i was waiting for the E train and Pat Cooper was standing a bit further down the platform. he looked insanely angry: he seemed to be mumbling. maybe its something about the subway system that drives overly sensitive people to rage? John Lovitz was coming out of the E station off Madison Ave and seemed to be wildly searching for something.

I try not to notice the crazy people in NYC because we attract so many of them.

I started a thread way back when..."Famous people you have seen"...I saw Howard and Beef way back when at the Artie Lange premier of Beerleague. Just happened to be walking by. He looked like a vulture all hunched over, and she was waving at everyone like they were there for her.

artie was the only celeb i've seen on the street who seemed really happy to have people come up and say hello, although knowing what I do now about him, he was probably high.

    leave him alone.

At most I would thank him for all the years of great entertainment (not specifying which years) and leave it at that

I wouldn't even acknowledge him. I worked in a celebrity rich industry for a few years and realized that most are douche bags.
