I'm just curious about the general opinion here.
The one where you and GP2 are, at the present moment.
Toss up between Cleveland, Detroit or Camden.
I was going to say - gotta be Detroit. Not even Cleveland's that low!
I'm not well-travelled admittedly, but minus a few good restaurants Cincinnati, Ohio pretty much blows goats.
Detroit. Other than its sports teams and weather, Cleveland isn't that bad.
East St. Louis should be on the short list.
Most boring city I've ever been too!
there are some hell holes in our great nation, and it's unreal how a decent place can descend into a war zone in a matter of a few years.
we can do better.
i'm just not sure how.
you can't turn generations of gubment teat suckers into people who give a damn without a lot of work and $$.
and they'll still hate you.
there has got to be a better way.
The govt is so worried about losing a huge voting block that they are afraid to cut the welfare and govt. give aways. I don't see why we can't at least make people work for their govt. hand outs. Rake leaves in a park, fill pot holes, pick up trash. Man, that stuff would make a difference!
Niagara falls ny is pretty desolate -run down shit hole with some big stores full of wonky canucks
work will set you free!
"Today's young people are really smart,
you'd be surprised how much they know.
Instead of asking you where they came from,
they now tell you where you can go!"
Holy shit, it actually exists.
I've seen those videos a million times and they stay funny.
Sometimes when I read about some places or see photos, it makes me believe that some places are beyond saving. Seriously, what can be done about Detroit, for example? They'd have to re-structure the entire city.
