"Robin, they tell me that cable companies forced In Demand to stop broadcasting Howard TV. It was so popular that it was hogging too much bandwidth and cable companies couldn't handle the demand. Once cable companies get up to speed with SIM cards, I guarantee you that Howard TV will be the most watched network in the country."

They refused to stop scrolling advertising for Anna Nicole Smith's show during Howard's even long after she was dead and he eventually pulled out.

Howard killed it before the cable companies had a chance to drop it. Industry insiders (someone I know that works for Cablevision on LI) said that they were not going to renew the contract with HTV. It wasn't worth the few hundred subscribers they had. And it really was just a few hundred on LI. So Howard closed up shop and put dozens out of work to save himself the embarrassment of being dropped for "Lack of interest".
