    What's on the menu?

    Just finished marinating a boneless lamb leg with honey, garlic, Rosemary, balsamic, lemon and olive oil. That'll suck those flavors in for about 2 days until I roast it.

    Also made some peanut brittle with Belgian chocolate and peanuts.

    We were gonna do a full on Seder tonight but I worked late and ordered a big old NY style pizza. Not Jewish, but we are traditional and often do holy days the old way.
    Easter will be schnitzel, spaetzle, bernaise sauce, homemade bread and roasted brussels sprouts.

    I am going to be lazy this year. Wife isnt eating much meat these days.

    I'm going to make a breakfast casserole. Dinner will be a couple fat ham steaks on the grill. Stuffing and mashed potatoes. Some kinda veggie and Hawaian rolls.

    I find the Old Testament incredibly interesting. The connection between the first Passover to modern Christianity is very powerful. Without the Jews there would be no Easter....in many respects.

    It's all about the herbs. Peas with mint, carrots with dill, potatoes with rosemary, juicy roasted bird and lamb ( if I can get some chops tomorrow ).

    Slow smoker is gonna be loaded with pork shoulders, ham and chickens...along with copious amounts of corn casserole, sweet potatoes, salads,appetizers and BOOZE

    I ran across a recipe today that was gefilte fish made with smoked Whitefish, topped with lemon horseradish sauce. I love matzoh any way you use it. Have to try that one soon.

    rib eye , baked potato is my responsibility not sure what else. It sucks the Charlton Heston version of the ten commandments isn't shown on Easter anymore. Was a tradition for years
