    I have two...
The first is U2 on their Joshua Tree tour, my friend got two tickets from her boss and we had first row mezz right above the stage at The Meadowlands...every song we sang along to, every time Bono looked our way, we thought he was looking at US!

Second is the first time Billy Joel went on Tour with Elton John, I was dating a guy who impressed me by not only getting front row seats at MSG, but we went backstage to meet Billy because he did some work for him.....a pure "Best of" show with amazing seats and meeting Billy to boot..

Green Day, 2003. Some dude in the front row was holding his phone up so his girlfriend could listen, Billy Joe told him to throw the phone to him and talked to the chick for a minute or two.
Later, during one of their lesser known songs, which I don't recall, he started asking if anyone knew how to play drums, bass, rhythm and pulled random people from the audience to play the instruments while he sang. When the song was over he told the guys playing guitar to keep them. Pretty damn cool.
TL;DR - Green Day fucking rocks.

The Who 1976 in Edmonton - I remember they had so much energy, so much going on.
Stones -1981 LA Memorial Coliseum Just me and 98,000 fans, Prince was opening, he came out wearing a diaper and never made it through the second song as people where chucking stuff at him and booing. George Thorogood and JGieils were also on the bill. The Stones were fantastic.

For overall mind-blowing significance, I'd have to say my older brother taking me to see Van Halen on their 1984 tour. That was my introduction to everything else that was to follow.....

My first concert was Cheap Trick and Kiss in '77 when I was 12 years old.
    The Who in '81.
U2 in '87 in SD and '88 at LA Coliseum.
Pink Floyd in '87 at LA Coliseum.
Loads of others but those stand out.

I was at both of those U2 shows. The Coliseum show was memorable for the massive size of the crowd and the off-and-on rain.

Disturbed concert back in 2004. I was like 15 or 16 at the time. Met a girl there that became a long term girlfriend. Good times.

Either U2's 1993 Zooropa Tour in Naples, Italy or Rush's Time Machine Tour in 2011.

I went on that tour too.
Somewhere around here I have a tape I made of it. My buddy had a Sony Walkman Pro that had a unidirectional mic. Very good recording in stereo.

    Best show?
Either Stray Cats first tour here 82? or front row at the Allman Brothers 10 years ago.
