They are making this out to be the greatest event of all time and are complaining that people are coming out of the woodwork to beg them for tickets. I imagine the only thing I'd see at the birthday show is His Royal Highness on a stage with the bimbo and Bobo, MFB and David Arquette clamoring for his attention. Maybe a few D-list guests would drop by to say happy birthday. Not the stuff of dreams from what I can tell.

I'd much rather go to the O and A event that would cost SiriusXM no money that the company requires them to pay $350,000 for them to do it. Fuck Sirius.

A lie told often enough becomes truth.

Didn't someone here say Sirius begged Howard to do a Super Bowl party for years? And isn't this party 19 days after his birthday? So it's a Super Bowl party but since Howard doesn't know what Football is he made a party in his honor.

A million years ago, I would have been excited to go to a Stern event.

Back on terrestrial radio Howig would throw a huge birthday show without even causing a stink about it. I say forget spending all this money on one birthday show and use that extra cash to hire a real comedian to replace Artie. THSS is a fucking borefest lately.

Comedians tend to be edgy. That could be dangerous to offend people.

Other than the celebrities that will be flown in, the attendance for the event will be 99% local NYC residents living within a 20 mile radius.... Pretty much all of Howard's current fanbase.

I think Howie turns 60 this time...ETM should be forced to fly with baloons for the occasion.

I went to the one in 98, I think it was. The only one they allowed listeners to, I think.

    Saw some good live music.

Now? Couldn't pay me to go.

Eric has a list of demands to do this. Johnny Fratto, you're on the air to tell me what Eric wants this time.

How great is it that for Howards birthday, Beth gets a red carpet to walk down.

Exactly. Hyping it up to make it seem like it's the biggest enemy since Woodstock

How often does anyone get to go to an event where Howard is almost guaranteed to show up and not simply run a best-of tape?
