This reality TV craze is due to come to an end sooner than later. Older folks (like me) remember the late 1970s/early 1980s when crap TV like "That's Incredible" and "Real People" were big hits. They fell off the radar once the networks decided to switch back to sitcoms and dramas. American Idol is falling in the ratings, and I bet the second and third tier shows (like AGT) are going to fight an uphill battle. Stern might generate some interest for awhile, but I bet it will have problems. All that said, how long will it take before Howard has some beef with the show's producers or the network and goes off and files a lawsuit? For wagering purposes I'll peg it at 24 months. The betting is now open.
