Me and my friend were laughing about this today, we both worked for the same business when we were in college, and it was owned by this really old gross guy, (his son owned a hugely popular club in NYC, and that was how we got our jobs) and he used to INSIST on driving us home at the end of the day, which, when I lived in Brooklyn, I thought, hmmm good deal. We both quit after like 4 months because he would put his hand on your neck when you were at your station, and give you a massage, or put his hand (as I just found out this morning) on my Girlfriends lap, when he drove her home! ugh...gross pig monster, I hope he wound up getting sued...and I hope he had a painful death....

As a teen I lasted 2 days at a plating factory. Big pool of molten zinc and the object to be plated was lowered in with a crane. This was mid summer and it must have been 120 degrees in the factory. One slip and I would have been a plated pig.

One hour photo lab. Parts of it were cool like seeing everyone's pictures they thought were private and all the photo processing equipment. All the customers were mostly assholes though and the place smelled like ass. Also wonder how many years my life has been reduced because of those chemicals.

Britts was a dept store for a few years similar to Kleins, etc. I was making the display signs with wood blocks and ink. But the guy in charge liked disco and it was played the entire day. I lasted just the one day. I'm not being a music snob but it was just too much. Sorta like having to endure techno music for 8 hours to compare it in today's terms.
