I would guess 500k
75k counting all listeners for a 24/7 period
I would guess 200-250k
Do we know how many people got lifetime subs?
even if we did it wouldn't mean that they are still listening. Most of them were bragging like crazy when they signed up. You don't see any posts from them about their great deal anymore.
I think you guys are being generous.
Howard was right about one thing. You have to do 5 shows a week at the same time and develop a habit of listening. I no longer listen because the habit is broken by the 4 consecutive days off counting the weekends.
More importantly the show sucks.
I guess somewhere between 150k to 200k listen. But if you can't the numerous listeners on each sub, it would be somewhere between 9-10 million.
somewhere between a couple dozen and several dozen
1/2 are gay, 1/2 are bi
I'd be amazed if more than 200k listened to at least half of the 12 hours of show each week.
Didn't Robin say something to the effect that they don't usually get calls from "new" people?
I'd guess no more than 400,000, including all of those who listen on the everpresent, easy-to-find pirate streams. I'd love to see the internal numbers from Sirius. They're probably a lot higher than we think -- considering how much they gave Stern to re-up even though he's working 1/2 the time.
Sheesh I was going to say 750k but you guys have me convinced its much less
Us + 11.
Give or take 12.
When was the last time you heard anyone outside of this forum even mention Howard? I'd have to go back to the terrestrial radio days to remember that. Even when he was on AGT I never overheard a conversation of people discussing the show or Howard.
Last year I was at Universal Orlando with some friends when I noticed some tall goofy looking guy who looked like a third rate Stern impersonater walking inn through the Main Gate. Kiddingly, I told my friends son (who was 20) kiddingly "Hey look, Howard Stern is in the park today!" . The kid looked at the guy, then at me and asked me in all seriousness "Who's Howard Stern?'
Here's what Arbitron came up with 5 years ago: http://www.orbitcast.com/archives/arbitron-ratings-for-satellite-radio.html
"Sirius' Howard 100 (ch 100) had a cume of 1.22 million listeners and an AQH of 96,700"
I don't remember what AQH means. Nonetheless, it is doubtful the ratings are as good now as they were then.
All Queer Homos.
Tom Cotter said 19 million on the WUS
