Artists or bands.
mine would be 60's.

I love early Prog rock, Yes, Alan Parsons Project, Peter Gabriel Genesis..plus the cheesy 70's music is a guilty pleasure.
1965-1975. In that time you got the best of the Beatles, Zeppelin, Stones, Bowie, Pink Floyd and lots of other good shit.
90's alternative rock
70s or 80s
60's and 70's
I would have to say the 70's, even the bad music was good. The early 80's and 60's were a close second.
Everyone knows rock music achieved perfection in 1974. Its a scientific fact!
You stole my thunder! Couldn't agree more. The Band. Queen. Hendrix. The Allman Bros. Black Sabbath. Bruce. Stevie Wonder. Sly And The Family Stone. Steely Dan. Grateful Dead. Skynyrd. (I feel like Richard Christie 'strolling through names' on the wrestling call-in show)
The 1920's. Bix Beiderbecke was one cool cat.
I want to add Bauhaus, The Cure, U2, Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode to that list.
70s pop and 80s New Wave but really any and all.
