    fried chicken is tits. bacon...tits. steak...tits. cornbread...tits.

    i like alton brown's fried chicken recipe:


    but i also like to soak the chicken in buttermilk, then dip/dredge in flour, then back into the buttermilk, and then back through the flour dredge once more time before frying. extra thick, tangy/zippy, and super crispy coating. nom nom nom.

    there's nothing like cooking a good steak in a white hot iron skillet.

    i just used mine 10mins ago to make caprese grilled cheese.

    i make a steak au poivre in mine that's pretty killer. it's a little less poivre and a little more of a brandy cream sauce. it's delish.

    i love the delicious fish taste in everything i make after the fish for a few weeks. mmmm...old fish.

    (j/k...but don't you get a fishy taste in anything you make after that?)

    I don't think I did, but it's really simple.

    I just stuffed the chicken with a lemon I cut into eighths, some garlic cloves, and fresh oregano and thyme. Preheat the oven to 375 with the skillet in there, then put the bird into the pan and roast to temp, brushing it a few times with the pan juices.

    Easy peasy, lemon squeasie. :c

    I want to try cornbread in mine, but I'm concerned that using my pan for things other than cornbread will change the taste. I think cornbread purists have a special pan just for that.
