During the interview Howard kept talking about how brilliant the show was and giving examples of favorite moments and episodes. I got the impression someone else made up the list because Howard sounded like he was reading it and didn't seem familiar with other details about the show. Why all the sudden ass-kissing? In the past both he and Robin and have said they rarely (if ever) watched the show, downplayed it's brilliance, and said they didn't understand why it was so popular. Some examples from Marksfriggin: •Howard's Father Calls In. 03/05/08. 8:45am Howard said that his father always wants to talk about Seinfeld but he doesn't know the show much so he can't really share with him. He said that his father is into the show like some people are into a religion. Ben said that there's some really funny episodes and described them to Howard. Howard said that his father really likes the show and he can give a lot of details about the show. Howard said that this is the same kind of thing that happens when he gets together with his father. He just goes on and on about Seinfeld even though he and Beth know nothing about the show. Howard Goes To Ed Bradley's Memorial Service. 11/27/06. 6:05am Howard joked that Michael Richards is probably going to move up there to show he likes the black people. He said he'll get to that story later and explain what happened there. Howard said Michael Richards was on the show one time and he was an awful interview. He was just a bore. Howard said the reason that Jerry Seinfeld went on Letterman and tried to get Richards to apologize is because they have this huge following that could turn on them because of something like that. He said he knows of people who love the show and are effected by what he said. Robin said she was never a fan of Seinfeld and she always thought the show was racist.
