Regularly? 1997. By 1999, I had stopped listening completely. I got a life and all of the Private Parts discussion really got old.

Stopped listening just over 5 years ago. I lost all interest.

I only come here because I like laughing at Stern trying to look young with plastic surgery and a wig.

I gave it a whole extra year waiting to hear about Artie. Tighter lips than the CIA.

Still kinda torn - with more and more of the truth about how big of an asshole he was coming out I have a bit more respect for why they never brought him back.

But that would have been one heck of a show.

I stopped listening around the time private parts came out. His voice and demeanor started to change. Come to find out he had had a nose job and was not far off from dropping Jackie and his wife. I started listening again in '03. Then stopped around this time last year. This was around the time he said he couldn't relate to his fans and he had Ellen on. I just couldn't take the canned bits and quasi pc stuff anymore. What happened to the comedy?

2011 second Sirius contract. By then he was mailing it in. That being said, I do miss Sal's and Richard's material.

I dropped him the first time in 2004 when the show became a three hour long commercial for his move to satellite.
I came back a few years when I bought a car with Sirius.
I started trailing off again in 2012 when evolved Stern came out in full force.
By last year I couldn't listen to more than 5 minutes at a time.
Dropped Sirius at the end of last year and haven't missed it.

    Started listening in 95.
Listened religiously daily for years. Missed work some mornings to listen.
Started losing interest after Artie imploded and left.
Gradually started migrating back to shit terrestrial radio. Checked into Stern replays occasionally on the weekends.
Satellite radio crapped out in the car in January 2015. Never fixed. Never renewed.
    Done, over and out.

Not long after Artie left. I also got tired of paying for best of and constant repeats. Howard thinks he just has to show up, turn on his mike and it's radio gold. I have Sirius radio in my car but I don't listen to the show.

I've never read any of his books. Are they worth it? I like Artie but have heard most of his stories over the years.
