Me, after the 4th show. It's just too american for me, too much fake editing, pre-scripted. I only watched it for Howard but after the 4th show it was clear Howard didn't bring anything new to the table (well their prewritten dialogues on a sheet maybe).

So when did you stopped watching AGT?

It wasn't long after I saw Howard pretend to be entertained by a squirrel skiing around in a kiddie pool.

I watched, maybe, a minute or five when Howard first came on. Had never seen it prior. Way too many quick edits and loud music to stick around. And the judges are absolutely loathsome, all three of them.

Also 4th episode for me. I went into it wanting to like it, but I never like shows like that. I gotta admit that the production on the show was great, but it just wasn't for me.

Production was great? They put a recently graduated kid in front of Final Cut Pro. The editing actually made the show worse.

That was my first and only episode. I bailed before the first commercial break during that skit.

Shouldn't you be watching Latvia's Got Talent then?

Like I said, it wasn't for me. Way too fast and dramatic. But it's clear that there's a high budget behind it. For its target audience, I imagine it's perfect.

Hey, I'm an open-minded guy, so I gave it a chance. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my being there was a tiny ember of a Stern fan. I thought...well, maybe he doesn't care about his radio show or fans anymore, but this TV judging gig my reignite the old Howard and this my be worth a look. Didn't take long to realize Howard really was dead to me. I watched part of the second show while logged onto Dawgs to join in with the mocking, but even then, I just couldn't sit through the entire shit show. I figured, why torture myself? I could just as easily read the funny threads and comments here without actually having to watch any of it. Many thanks to those of you with stronger stomach's who did. Your recaps were always entertaining.

I have never seen an episode of AGT. Nor do I watch any other "talent show". I used to watch the Gong Show when I was a kid though.
