I've been a listener for about 23 years. No matter where he worked, he has always threatened to retire or move stations openly. Many show hours have been ultimatums. He has a little over a year left. When do the on air threats start?

I only listen a little bit, but I'm pretty sure he's already started.

You need leverage to start making demands on-air and after the new CEO took over there is NOT A FUCKING CHANCE IN HELL they re-sign Wiggy unless he takes a massive pay cut. The honest truth is that Wiggy's program is so god damn dull and PC now that he could easily make the transition back to terrestrial radio so who knows maybe he can trick them into one last big contract......

No doubt. Add about 5 min more commercials an hour and change them from "back of magazine" ads to more established brands, and it's back-to-KROQ.

Maybe he can openly negotiate for a new Sirius and AGT contract at the same time. Great radio!

Sirius ought to grow a pair and call his bluff. He has no place else to go.

Oh believe me they know what lack of listenership he has. Why do you think one of the emails/callers were complaining that they couldn't see the birthday show anymore.

Wiggy is trying to make false demand for that aviation.

I couldn't imagine him being able to get away with a 2 and 3 day work week on regular radio. Does anyone else get away with it?

But the network of syndicated stations would not be there and he would just be a local New York show, with a much smaller pay check.
