Ya might wanna not do it while the cop is right behind you @Lemmy
Poor old guy was terrified.
That old cabby had an angel on his shoulder.
Let's say this piece of shit criminal has one prior (figure that's a good bet),
How much time do you think he'll get for this armed robbery? @Lemmy @Mlaw
Just curious. I'd be fine with 50 years
How the hell is he supposed to buy his college textbooks?
OUTSTANDING. What timing.
in FL he would get mandatory 25yrs even with no priors
Ugh, that poor old man, I've only been scared like that a couple of times in my life and it isn't something you can just shake off.
LO fucking L
Dumbass. How much did he think he was gonna get in the middle of the day from a cabbie in Reading PA?
And, turns out gun was a pellet gun. Not that it matters.
Too bad the cop didn't cap his ass and save the txpayers some money.
cabby was a tattle tale after cops showed up
lucky dude glad that cop was there
Standard Issue cabbie seat/back cushion.
This gentleman was profiled by the racist cop and Obama is sending the attorney general as we soeak to right this wrong. Riots will ensue unless the cop is fired.
Jesus. you really had to make it about Obama ?
I was hoping to benefit from your expertise in law enforcement to understand sentencing.
Thanks a bunch
It was pretty dumb of the cabbie to tell the crook that the cop was walking up on them. If it was a real gun the outcome might have been a little different.
It would depend on the state, wouldn't it?
Just a joke.
By the time it gets to sentencing I am generally no longer involved and, honestly, don't give a shit. I do my job to the best of my abilities and then hand it off to detectives and the prosecutor. For all the heinous stuff I've dealt with I only recall a few "perps" that got the sentence they deserved. Usually there is a deal struck or there is some sorta "outreach" or other "feel good" program to shuffle them into with probation.
Everyone is a victim except the actual victim of violent crime.
See? Florida's not all bad!
