Instant plebeian status in my book
If they are over 24 and still Twittering or Facebooking I question their future as a man.
I don't care who their provider is. I judge them by their email name. If they have something too cutesy or clever, I assume they're a douche.
I had a prospective consultant (CPA/MBA) of mine give me his email address of firstname.lastname@example.org (could've been aol, it was five years ago).Needless to say, creepo wasn't hired.
OMG thank god I use Gmail
When I see a Gmail address I think smart, cool, hip professional.
When I see a Gmail address, I think they're a datamining target.
PB confirmed for ISP email user.
My personal email address is a hotmail account. I have had it since like 1998. It's an original, meaning if someone tried to get it now, you would need to get numbers after it.
That being said, I only use my gmail for my resume and job related things.
Social media is a tool for advertising and sales prospecting
That's one of them, yes. I use that one for people I know, since it's my real name. I also have a couple of others including my SFN / Dawg's email, which is my screen name.
Mine is a MSN account
Almost the same, no? I get to my hotmail from the msn page.
I have a g-mail, and a SBC Global e-mail (s).
I used to have like 50 e-mail addresses when you needed a unique e-mail acct to register s/n's at Stern related chat boards.
I know two posters here who have hotmail addresses. They are generally respected and well-liked. I would also consider them to be above average intellectually.
I question your judgment based on your acceptance of hotmail plebs.
