and you respond with, "Yes, this is John Smith" She transfers the call. Then, more often than not, the person you are trying to reach answers with his name only, not acknowledging who you are, even though he was just told your name: "This is Bill Johnson". To which you are then forced to unnecessarily repeat yourself, "Oh hi Bill, this is John Smith..." In a perfect world, these people would be euthanized because one of two things is happening: 1. Either the receptionist isn't forwarding your name, which means she shouldn't be asking. or 2. She is forwarding your name, but the fuckwad makes you repeat it anyway.
