    The other day I heard him doing a medley of his hits on Sternthology. Loyal listener since the WNBC days, I honestly don't remember this one. Certainly not a segment that they've repeated to death! Was this from the NBC days? The syndicated show? K-ROCK? or the Satellite Years?

    He was on last year. I liked the interview because I like Elvis Costello.

    Did Howard ask him:
    1. How big is your penis?
    2. Does Elvis have Daddy issues?
    3. How big is your house?

    I read Elvis' autobiography. Great read.
    I really would like to hear the interview someday, if there was just some way to edit out Wiggy's voice. :giggle:

    That's why I don't remember it! I remember vividly the shows from the 80s until about when Artie left. Last few years of shitty shows...not so much!

    Boring interview that included;
    How hard is it to write a song?
    You had father issues?
    How many women you have sex with?
    Wish I played music
    How much money have you made?
    It is hard to sell records today?
    Just look up Elvis Costello on Wikipedia and to will see the conversation talking points.

    The lamest part about the whole thing is the Elvis Costello tribute that Fred wrote and posted on HowardStern.com the weekend before the interview. Since he's never done anything like that before, it seemed like it was just part of the deal in order to get Elvis to appear on the show, (They moved the show's start time back by seven hours to accommodate Madonna, after all, so an essay calling Elvis the greatest legend ever is nothing.)

    Howard "Thank You Card" Stern is all about going the extra mile for a celebrity.
