In April 2006, Howard launched the "inaugural" Howard Stern Film Festival as an attempt to gain subscribers to the newly formed Howard TV. It's the one red carpet event that Beth missed in her entire life (Howard claimed they got into a fight because the festival was scheduled for a time when Beth had to be out of town). But even Beth's glamour would've been no match for Howard's grace: Robin's boyfriend also couldn't make it that night, so she brought as her date a blind lesbian senior citizen: Last known photograph of Fred's wife Alison at a Stern Show function. She was thrilled to be forced to attend. Bubba the Love Sponge's entry into the competition, "My Wife Fucks a Wrestler In My Own Bed," did not make the final cut, but he was a good sport and flew up from Florida anyway. His producer Brent came along to personally drop off his job application to the Howard Stern Show. He was hired 7 years later: Artie Lange wore the cleanest jeans he could find: A time traveling Joey Boots came back from the year 2020 to share his best wishes and brag about his latest settlement: High Pitch Eric was able to stand using only the power of his own two legs at the time: Best friends forever! Two dead Wack Packers, and one who refuses to have anything to do with Howard anymore: Richard Roeper was a judge: As were comedian Richard Belzer and director Todd Philips: Howard was exploiting women hard at the time, so he had a woman wearing body paint and stickers present novelty checks to the night's winners: Best friends forever! Here's to 10 more years of Howard TV, and to ten more Howard Stern Film Festivals!
