    With such an awe inspiring planet... Where have you visited? What was it like? Things you recommend? Things that are overrated? Recommend? Don't recommend?

    Munich: visited in sept of 2001, just after 9/11. The people of Germany couldn't have been more awesome. The oompa bands all played New York New York repeatedly. Oktoberfest was a riot. Dachau opened my eyes like never before. Neuschwanstein and hoenscheangou were breathtaking. My obsession with smart cars began

    Prague: visited in October 2001. The city is ancient and amazing. The Russian "graffiti". The astronomical clock, the golem. Walking tours were the way to go here. The castle had a chapel dating back to 400 ad and we stayed in wencislas square. Food was fantastic even from street vendors and everyone tried to sell you drugs . Hotel room was tiny and outdated and nobody spoke English, but the tribute to 9/11 was heart felt

    Melbourne: visited in 2003. Caught the rugby World Cup final where aus defeated eng. also sat in on a 5-day test match between aus and India which, unbeknownst to me, was the match of the century. Lots of bus tours and tons of fun. Highly recommend

    LA, Frisco, Atlanta, London, Paris, Amsterdam... Hawaii... Baja California one July with a VW bus caravan... one of my favorite spots is Santa Catalina Island, off California. Great day trip. Rent a golf cart and tool up the canyon to the Wrigley Memorial. Very nice indeed. I grew up in Newport Beach before it was the "OC". That was a nice area back in the day.

    Because I've lived in Europe for the last 13 years, I've covered almost all of Europe and the Mediterranean. Driven, vacationed, visited, and soaked up the culture. I've hit a good portion of the capitals and major cities and seen many of the sites. Haven't been to the far east yet, and still haven't seen large portions of the east U.S. I only set foot in N.Y. once at JFK in a stop over. But I have driven all over PA. I've traveled the Caribbean, most of Mexico and several countries in Central America. But I've been all over the western U.S. including Alaska and 4 islands of Hawaii.

    Interesting, that would be a great trip. The history of that highway and how it was built is impressive.
