Where the fuck do i start???

    I really need some advice, i've tried searching out info on the net, and it's all very vague, or it wants you to pay for something, so I thought I'd give this a try. I'm 22, have never really worked out, not fat, couple pounds over, not fat tho, but I sit for hours on end at my job, and I do smoke a lot, but I need some help on where I should begin as far as streching, and getting my blood flow going good again. I want to move on to really working out, but I need to do a solid month of prep to loosen up, and, again, get my blood flowing. I just don't really know anything about exercise, except for jogging and ect. However, my muscles and joints are extremely stiff, and that's what I need to work on. Please, if anyone could help, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks.

    Yoga is good start for flexibility. There are lots of yoga DVD's and free online programs for beginners if you don't want to go to a class.
    Walking is also very good to help start you getting into a regular workout routine. Then you can progress to running and sprinting at your own pace. But that won't be easy if you smoke.
    Also, weight lifting is the number one workout I would recommend. And again, if you don't want to go to a gym, there are plenty of beginning DVD's and free online programs available to get you started.

    Yoga sounds the way to go. I want to move on to weightlifiting, and running, ect, but like I said, my muscles and joints are super stiff.
