I presently have a Samsung Note 3. I have had it for the past 2 years and it has been a terrific phone, but I am now allowed to upgrade to a new phone. A couple of things. I have to be on Verizon because my company pays for the phone, the data and minutes. I will not get an apple iPhone.

Here are the phones I am looking at but I cant make the choice. A little help would be great if you have used any of the following phones:

    1. Samsung Note 4 ( I like this because it still has removable battery and a MicroSD slot):dontknow:

    2. Samsung Note 5(I like this phone because it is the latest and greatest BUT No Removable Battery or MicroSD slot):dontknow:

    3. Samsung Galaxy S6+ ( I like because of the Dual curved edges but No Removable Battery or MicroSD Slot):dontknow:

    4. Google Nexus 6 ( I like because I have a Google Nexus Tablet and these devices get the latest operating system 1st (BUT No Removable Battery or MicroSD Slot):dontknow:

    5. Motorola Droid Turbo 2 ( I like droids, it was my first android phone and has wireless charging, but No Removable Battery or MicroSD Slot ):dontknow:

Howard related because he has turned into what he hated most ...Imus!:gayhand:

I have been big on the Samsung brand since the Note 2 (which I still feel is the best Android phone I've ever owned due to the least amount of problems I've ever had with a phone), HOWEVER...I own the Note 4, recently had to replace the battery (have never had to do that in nearly 20 years of owning a cell phone), had the thing crash a few different times over odd issues, and while its fast, is it worth it for that trouble? I haven't had a TON of issues, but the ones I have had have really pissed me off due to the success of the Note 2.

You're correct about the Note 5 and S6+.

I like the options available on teh Note 4 and would suggest that out of the Samsung bunch.

Why not try the Nexus phone? That to me is the best of the alternates after the Note 4.

If I wanted an iPhone, I would have gotten one. I hate that all these companies are falling right in line and cutting off access to a micro SD and removable battery. After all that I'm about ready to go back to this:

Really, I wonder why Samsung is starting with that shit now with the built in battery's??

I'm still using my Note 1, only about a year and a half ago, that battery started to crap out and I bought and dropped in a new one. Beyond that, my Note is still running flawlessly.

I suggest a Nokia flip phone. Battery lasts a week. Nice half inch non touch screen.

I bought three batteries and keep them charged up and swap em out a couple times a day. Built in battery will definitely keep me away.

All rumors....there are sites that are getting info from companies creating the parts so they're more reliable than others.

If you can hold out, wait for a Samsung phone with the new 820 snapdragon. Should only be a couple months. The Note 5 uses a subpar EXYNOS chip because they couldn't wait for the 810.

I still use a Note 3 because of the removable battery and SD card missing from the Note 4 and 5. The 3 will probably be the last phone to have that though.
