Forgot chuck Lidell
Honorable mention: Vanderlai, Belfort, Lidell
What about Jellybean?
Or is it art jimmerson
in retrospect, the quality of opponents of all the guys can be questioned. I don't think there really is a clear answer. Old school people would say Fedor but the pound for pound opponents were exceptionally weak by modern standards.
Also the sport is still new so the modern guys are a lot better than the guys even 10 years ago.
If I had to pick I would say GSP beat the best p4p guys in the era he fought in.
Jon Jones could be up there but the division is a little overrated and he's a total fuck up. Fedor's opponents were just too weak to me. Aldo or Cruz are decent but can't pick em. Mighty Mouse would be over the rest of the guys in the list for me.
could be art jimmerson
Fedor is the best heavyweight.
Silva had already lost 4 times before he even went to UFC. Some question the level of oppositon he fought in UFC as well.
Jones two months ago, I would have said is the best in UFC right now. Can't ignore the fact he got caught doping though.
I'd go with Gracie.
GSP is sort of the Mayweather of MMA.
Kimbo Slice. Can't wait until his next fight. Wait, he lost his last fight. His life.
Ken Shamrock hands down no contest.
... He was so good McDonald's made a shake in his honor
Damn near that entire list.
Great fighters but Id say its too soon to judge the Jones', Cruz's, Aldo's McGregor's etc. as GOAT.
Not an easy choice but I still went with Silva.
The guy went undefeated and defended his belt for 6 years.
He could literally have his own highlight reel.
Royce in terms of historical impact, but this is too difficult to choose IMO. No one would be training if it weren't for him and his family.
You could make a strong argument for any of those guys.
For the record, i voted for The Last Emperor.
Dominick Cruz beat Mighty Mouse.
edit: saw you wrote Cruz before him. My bad.
Kimbo tapped out of life.
Dada 5000 didn't make the list?
