    Who watched him fly away?

I remember my brother and I turned on ch.11 in L.A. to watch I Love Lucy and they broke in to show him heading to the helicopter.

PBS is showing a Dick Cavett special with him interviewing most of the people involved in the Watergate break in.

Imagine if that was today, when Congress would demand the tapes, all Nixon would have had to do was destroy them and say the hard drives crashed! Ba! All gone! He would have never had to resign.

I wasn't even alive back then.

My dad was in his late teens forty years ago.

Oh don't worry they learned from their mistakes, to the point of another "Dick" (Cheney) taking all his files away when he left the White House...Fuck the National Archives!

Same here. Or that cool Evil Knievel wind-up motorcycle.
I remember people had dart boards with his face on it which I thought was cool but it wasn't because it was his pic.
Anybody's face on a dart board was a great idea.

That's funny, but it's also completely true.

Sometimes when I beat off, or come into a rubber, I wonder if the next Einstein, Hitler, Disney, or Elvis might have been in there.

I was six, probably shaving my barbie's hair off, and applying red scripto pen to her lips...while trying to get her hooked up with talking GI Joe......
