was Carson ever a judge on the Gong show?
Is there even a question?
dick cavett for life.
Mankind won't be around 500 years from now
obviously Stern. Nobody has ever done what he has done.
Here's Johnny. Not even close.
Neither, but the beautiful Beth O will be remembered for saving the kittens and bad Botox.
Neither one. Who was the funniest guy in the 1500s? Nobody knows and nobody cares. You people put way too much importance on this guy.
500 years from now, mankind will be living in the 800's thanks to Islam. And there will be a large number of former cities which are radioactive ruins.
I don't know about 500 years but I honestly think Howard will be remembered more. My kids don't even know who Carson was. Howard had many more venues than one late night time slot. And Carson really just hosted the show. I never thought he was that great. I switched to Letterman for a late night option back then.
Neither, both will be nothing but footnotes 50 years from now. 500 years from now radio and it's purveyors will be as well known as the court jesters of Medieval Europe.
Both Johnny Carson and Carson Daily will be more famous than him.
Let's see, one was the celebratard ring master for 30 years ( no one was too A list to do the tonight show ), and the other was the fourth judge on a open mic night. That's a tough one. Let's warm up with this one: what tastes better
1) prime rib
2) shit sandwich
white or rye?
Do you own any of the Cavett DVD box sets?
That shit still holds up.
Cavett's not as funny as Carson but he's as quick a wit & a better interviewer - especially during the ABC shows.
The PBS stuff is pretty dry.
The fuck is a Howard Stern?
Carson is more famous than Wiggy NOW, & he's been dead for about 10 years. Did anyone see that Carson documentary on PBS a couple years ago? It's great, it's on nexflix now, check it out.
Seriously? At the rate we're going I doubt the human race will even make it to the next century.
